About

Hey! I'm Liz Lorena. I'm a May 2019 ITI program graduate from Rutgers University who makes websites and aspires to be a game developer. This is my blog about art, programming, and working on the Web. I have a YouTube channel and also plans for a WordPress theme store and some small games. You can find more information about me here.

I started this blog and my YouTube channel because one of my creative outlets is writing, and I wanted my own little spot on the Web where I can share with others the things I have learned in web and game development and my thoughts on other topics. Posts and videos on this blog are not sponsored unless otherwise stated in the post or video. There are no ads on this site, but my YouTube channel may run ads at some point in the future. I'm transparent about my affiliate/referral codes and links.

Win Prizes Drinking Soda with Uncap the Jackpot

Published 10 August 2018 in money

A few weeks ago I decided to flip over the cap of a Jarritos brand soda to look for a number, because I vaguely remembered that companies sometimes did raffles and such to reward loyal customers and provide an incentive to buy their products. To my surprise, I found a short code and a website address! This first cap won me $25 in the form of a check, and it was really as simple as buying a soda and entering the code on the site. I probably just got really lucky because I haven't won another cash prize since then, but I wrote this so you can try your luck, too!

The Brands

Tamarind is my favorite.

There are four brands of beverages by Mexican food distributor and manufacturer Novamex that participate in this game:

  • Jarritos
  • Mineragua
  • SÍdral MUNDET
  • Sangria Señorial

You can probably find these popular products in your local grocery store with a Hispanic foods section. All flavors and varieties of the products above - in glass or plastic bottle - apply.

The Prizes

There are various different prizes you can win in this game, from discount codes, to cash prizes, to cars. Yes, cars. The rough details of the prizes are as follows:

  • Grand Prize (2): A car of your choice not exceeding $30k in value
  • First Prize (4): Pick from 100 envelopes to reveal either a car of your choice or $1,000 cash prize
  • Second Prize (5): $5,000 cash prize
  • Third Prize (192): $500 cash prize
  • Fourth Prize (250): $100 cash prize
  • Fifth Prize (1,000): $50 cash prize
  • Sixth Prize (4,000): $25 cash prize
  • Instant Prize: Discount code for Vudu, a movie and TV show rental and purchase service, or Fanatics.com, a sports apparel store

The Process

Redeem your prizes at www.myprizes.net

Once you have your 7-digit one-time use code under the cap of your Novamex beverage, visit the website MyPrizes.net to instantly check your code and see what you won. Make sure you save the confirmation email that you are sent as well as your cap! Directions for receiving your prize will be seen when you check your code. Cash prizes are sent to your address in the form of a check within a few weeks, and discount prizes are available immediately. Don't forget that there's a limit of 2 entries per email address per day and you must only use one email address or risk the loss of your prize.

The Deadline

The deadline is 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Monday, September 24, 2018, so make sure to redeem your prizes before then!

Winning Without Purchasing?

Something I discovered while reading the terms is that there is a way to win without even purchasing a beverage. UndertheCapAMOE.com is where you can get two codes per email per day that you can redeem on WinPrizes.net. You have to answer a few questions about how you enjoy your Novamex beverage, so answer truthfully and don't use more than one email! Also, make sure to save your confirmation email and the email containing your winning AMOE code!

Good luck playing and enjoy your drink!
