About

Hey! I'm Liz Lorena. I'm a May 2019 ITI program graduate from Rutgers University who makes websites and aspires to be a game developer. This is my blog about art, programming, and working on the Web. I have a YouTube channel and also plans for a WordPress theme store and some small games. You can find more information about me here.

I started this blog and my YouTube channel because one of my creative outlets is writing, and I wanted my own little spot on the Web where I can share with others the things I have learned in web and game development and my thoughts on other topics. Posts and videos on this blog are not sponsored unless otherwise stated in the post or video. There are no ads on this site, but my YouTube channel may run ads at some point in the future. I'm transparent about my affiliate/referral codes and links.

Even then, I wanted some change, so I found yet another free digital program called Medibang Paint Pro. To my delight, it's comparable to the other two programs I mentioned with some extra features that some may find makes it better than both.

I wanted to dedicate this week's post to all the games I have 'completed' thus far in my life and what I learned from the awfulness of it all. I go through all the software I've used, what I learned, and how this has helped me decide the direction I want to take my first personal game I am currently working on and plan to present as a midterm project.

Welcome to part 3 of my portfolio site journey! There will probably be many more parts in the future, but these are the most recent and current versions of my portfolio site. I hope you've found my documenting of my learning journey helpful in some way, and I hope that you start or continue your own!
